A new study shows America’s waistline is expanding faster than ever.

Research from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that 26.7 percent of adults in the U.S. are now obese, a 1.1 percent increase from 2007.

In 2000, no states reported obesity rates over 30 percent. Today, nine states exceed that mark.

Aon Corp. 

Aon Corp. reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010. Total revenue increased 1% to $1.9 billion with a decline in organic revenue of 1%, the company says.

Net income attributable to Aon stockholders was $153 million or $0.54 per share, compared to $149 million or $0.51 per share for the prior year quarter. Net income attributable to Aon stockholders from continuing operations increased 22% to $179 million or $0.63 per share, compared to $147 million or $0.50 per share for the prior year quarter. N
